The Works of the Father

Jesus said he had glorified the Father while he was on the earth, and had finished the work the Father had given him to do. He referred to these works earlier, telling Philip to believe that he and the Father were one based on Jesus' works alone (John 14:10-11). He told the disciples that doing the works of the Father was food to him (John 4:34).

Doing the will of his Father was literally life and death to him (Matthew 26:39).

Which brings me to the question, do I cherish doing the will of my heavenly Father so that it is as important as life and death is to me?
