The Deadly Game

If we tend to worry, we play a deadly game with ourselves called "what if". Our mind easily comes up with the worst scenarios. Satan enjoys this game because he likes tormenting God's children. The game leads to depression, confusion and ultimately into unbelief.

Jesus did not hide the truth from us. He told us plainly that we would have trouble in the world. But he also said not to be afraid because he has overcome the world (John 16:39). Every trouble that does make its way into our lives is powerless to destroy us because the God of the universe is our loving Father.

We are in the Father and Jesus' hands. No one and no thing can remove us (John 10 28-30; Romans 8:31-39).
