Saving the Impossible

Remember Jesus' words to the disciples, "The time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service". Does that remind you of anyone in the New Testament? Before Paul knew the Lord he was called Saul. He was a devout Jewish leader. He led a detachment of soldier taking Christians to Jerusalem to be tormented and murdered. He watched over the coats of the crowd that stoned Steven to death.(Acts 6:8-15, 7:1-60, 8:1-3, 9:1-2). He thought he was serving God. Yet God confronted Saul, changed his name to Paul and used him to write most if the New Testament. God is able to save those who persecute us. Do not allow hatred toward them to enter your heart.
