Sheep and Goats

“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before him and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left” (Mt 25:31-33).

And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy art Thou to take the book, and to break its seals; for Thou was slain, and didst purchase for God with Thy blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation (Rev 5:9).

God has a people he has gathered from every nation, every dialect, every accent, every culture throughout all time. And we are privileged to be a part of the vast body of Christ (Romans 12:45; Eph 4:16).

We are not his people because we belong to a certain race. We are his people because we are washed in the blood of the lamb and he has called us to himself. By his grace we have been saved (Ephesians 2:8-10; Hebrews 12:2; Philippians 1:6).
