In the middle of warnings about difficult times, Jesus gives us this promise. “But he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Mt 24:13).
It is difficult to stand for truth when you are surrounded by those who disagree with you, much less when your life is on the line. But we do not stand in our own strength. We do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). And no matter what happens to our bodies we are MORE than conquerors through Christ who loves us (Rom 8:36-37).
Persecution and difficult circumstances remind us that we are not citizens of this world. We are on temporary visas until God calls us home.
